The top priority for this project was to ensure employee master data could be updated, managed and prepared for analysis using standardized and automated processes. Another focal point was the harmonization of divergent, country-specific HR processes. The greatest challenge for INEOS Styrolution and tts, however, was the extremely tight deadline, as the project was to be successfully completed in just eight months.
Implementation of a single, innovative solution
Very early on, INEOS Styrolution realized it could only meet the deadline by introducing a single, innovative solution. The company opted for SAP SuccessFactors. This decision was very much influenced by the software’s sophisticated integration options. Planning is everything
Given the tight timings, INEOS Styrolution was keen to roll out multiple SAP SuccessFactors modules in all countries simultaneously. With this in mind, the project was launched with a global kick-off workshop. The close collaboration between in-house HR experts from INEOS Styrolution and experienced tts consultants was key to ensuring the planning and implementation processes were a success. “This paved the way for completing the go-live in record time,” highlights Albert Tomaj, Global IT Program Manager at INEOS Styrolution.

Role management has laid the foundation for simple budgeting and an even more efficient corporate structure. INEOS Styrolution is now able to systematically analyze staff data and key operational HR metrics throughout the entire group and derive appropriate measures.
